Artificial Intelligence presents a myriad of opportunities, but it also comes with significant threats. Additionally, there are ethical concerns surrounding AI such as privacy issues and the misuse of AI for malicious purposes, which includes cyber attacks and misinformation campaigns. Right at the stage of weak AI and narrow AI we can confidently say that we stand above them since they lack a subconscious mind or so to say common sense like we humans do but we are not very far away from the era of super AIs which can definitely surpass human intelligence, leading to a scenario where we lose control over these powerful technologies, often referred to as “singularity”. Ensuring responsible development and regulation of AI is crucial to mitigate these threats and harness the benefits of this transformative technology.
