Army distributes sports items to school in Kohima

DIMAPUR — The Indian Army distributed sports items worth INR 5 lakh to Government Middle School, Vishwema, in Kohima on Monday.

According to an update, the initiative, held under Operation Sadbhavna, was aimed at promoting sports and fitness among the youth.

The distribution of sports items is in accordance with the Army’s ongoing efforts to engage with the local community, especially the youth, and support initiatives that contribute to the overall well-being of the youth to nurture a generation of physically and mentally resilient individuals who are equipped to face life’s challenges, it said.
