An illegal arms manufacturing workshop in a residential area in Dimapur was busted. Acting on specific information, troops of 18 Assam Rifles and 29 located the illegal workshop in a hideout inside a house at Naga Cemetery, Dimapur. They found the workshp indulging in the sale of illegal arms that included .22 rifles and .22 pistols.
In a press release today, the Assam Rifles said one Manen Imsung, aged 41, was apprehended with four .22 rifles, one .22 pistol, ammunition and various parts of weapons. The apprehended individual along with the recovered arms and ammunition have been handed over to the West police station, Dimapur.
