Troopers of the 19th Assam Rifles have also apprehended two armed activists of the underground group FGN on February 26 in Kohima town’s Mao Market. The two have been identified as one Zhoviho Hibo alias Azo of Khuzama village, and a Simboi Hmar of Saidan village in Churachandpur district of Manipur. “The column recovered thirteen FGN blank identity cards, and two mobile phones. The apprehended cadres have been handed over to police station (South), Kohima for further interrogation and investigation,” the authorities informed in a note issued on March 2.
