From killing to robberies, Nagaland state has become an orphan: The Kohima Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) has denounced another incident of crime, this one at Khedi Market in capital town Kohima on March 4 when armed criminals robbed Rs. two lakh from the wife of a trader.
The organization stated in a press release on Monday that the criminals snatched the woman’s handbag containing cash of Rs 2 lakh at gunpoint. The perpetrators were in police uniform, the business organization stated.
“KCCI therefore demands the law enforcing agencies to nab the culprits at the earliest for the safety and security of the traders and the citizens. Such anti social acts in broad daylight should be condemned by every right thinking citizen and that justice be brought to the victim at the earliest,” the press release stated.
