Arjun Rampal: Award functions are money making business, except national award

Former Model-turned-Actor Arjun Rampal, happens to be all busy now a days with promotions of his upcoming release ‘Roy’. The actor in an interview to media stated that he often feels that Awards functions are nothing other than money making business in our industry, except National Award.
The National Award Winning actor said, “I think it’s a money making business. National award is the only award which is not a commercial event and it’s the only award function which has got any weight,”
The actor further stated that he doesn’t feel like an outsider in the industry. As the actor said, “I don’t feel as an outsider in this industry. I have immense respect for the Industry and will do anything and everything in my power to contribute back to it,” Talking about his upcoming release ‘Roy’, the film also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead. So far, the trailer and songs from the film have been very well accepted by the audience all over.
‘Roy’, is been directed by Vikramjit Singh and it will hit big screens on 13th February all over.
