Arambam Bobby is Mr World for 5th time

IMPHAL, Dec. 4: Four times world champion Arambam Bobby has become Mr World for 5th time when he won a gold medal at the weeklong 8th WBPF World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships 2016 (29th November – 5th December), Pattaya City, Thailand on November 3,reports available here said. Touted as the best Indian bodybuilder India has ever produced, Bobby is a 3 times Mr Asia and 12 times Mr India holder,the sources said.The 41 year old body builder who is presently working in Indian railways is a resident of Lilong Chajing Mairenkhong Leikai in Manipur’s Thoubal district.
CC meet begins: One of the most prestigious football tournaments of Northeast India, popularly known as CC Meet, the 59th Sir Churachand Singh KCIS, CBE Memorial Football Tournament 2016 was started at Mapan-Kangjeibung ground in Imphal on Sunday.
In the first match of the tournament played here at Kangjeibung at 1 pm,AFC Churachandpur beat KFC Senapati by one goal to nil. The solitary goal of AFC Churachandpur was scored by P Vaiphei in penalty at the 38th minute of the match which was watched a sizeable number of crowd.On the second day of the tourney which is being participated by arouns 22 teams including two outstation football clubs, ZFC tamenglogn will meet YUFC of Ukhrul at 12.05pm while KDC Komlathabi will face RAU Khurai Lairikyengbam leikai in Imphal at 1.50pm tomorrow.
The matches of the tournament will be held at Mapal Kangjeibung and Khuman Lampak Stadium.
