AR organises symposium on ‘HIV and AIDS-free Nagaland’

Dimapur, April 14 (EMN): The Zunheboto battalion of Assam Rifles (AR) conducted a symposium on ‘HIV and AIDS free Nagaland’ and “career counselling” in collaboration with Zunheboto Range Students’ Union (ZRSU) and District Aids Prevention Control Unit (DAPCU), at Zunheboto town hall in Zunheboto on April 14. In a press release issued by the AR on Saturday, a medical team led by Captain Abhishekh Sharma and Nodal Officer Hokishe, delivered a lecture and educated the youth about substance abuse: drugs, alcohol, narcotics. The youth were also educated about the preventive measures and danger of HIV and AIDS. According to the press release, about 1000 students, teachers, and local citizens attended the event.
