AR Karate team wins Karate C'ship

Dimapur, July 20 (EMN): AR Karate team of ARTC and S, Shokhuvi won the recently concluded 4th All India Open Invitational Karate Championship held under the aegis of All India Karate Federation at Talkatora stadium in New Delhi on July 15 and 16. [caption id="attachment_127558" align="alignnone" width="599"] Assam Rifles Karate Team with their medals, certificates and championship trophy at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi.[/caption] The team bagged six Gold, three Silver and six Bronze medals in the championship and emerged as the overall champions. Delhi state team was declared the runners up. In all, 17 teams representing various states and Central Police Organisations participated in the event. The AR team was led by manager cum coach L/Hav Satendra.
