AR hosts ‘A day with company Commander’ at Meluri town

DIMAPUR — The Phek Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ 5 Sector, IGAR (N) hosted ‘A day with company commander’ event at Meluri town on April 24.

The event, especially organised for students of Government Higher Secondary School, Meluri, was attended by Class 12 students, an update stated.

The students, who were all NSS volunteers, were accompanied by two teachers.

The event included fun-filled activities and games like tug of war, blind hit, Florentine kick game and classroom discourse etc.

Later, in the interactive session, the student volunteers were informed about the Assam Rifles and their immense contributions in maintaining peace and security.

Further, a career guidance lecture was also conducted for the students.
