Dimapur, April 13 (EMN): Wokha battalion of the Assam Rifles has organised an interaction session with the village council members of Chukitong on April 13.
An Assam Rifles press release stated that information about various educational development schemes of central and state government were covered during the interaction. Various upcoming military civic action activities, upcoming ESM rallies, recruitment and educational opportunities for youth were also covered.
It added that a total of 22 village council members attended the event.
In a similar programme, Kiphire battalion of the Assam Rifles conducted a lecture on ‘Skill development’ at Around Saramati Mountain School, Pungro, on April 13.
The lecture was conducted in order to give out the importance of skill development for the society and for personal growth. The lecture also emphasised on bringing awareness on the importance of education and skill development training. Altogether, 29 students and staff attended the event.
