Dimapur, March 14 (EMN): A combined team of the Nagaland police and the Dimapur battalion of the Assam Rifles have informed to have arrested one person who was allegedly in possession of illegal weapons, from Chekiye village in Dimapur on March 14.
The arrest was made during operation basing on intelligence inputs, a press release from the Assam Rifles informed on March 14.
The accused was identified as Hotovi Zhimo (42), son of Hikhezhe Zhimo and resident of Chekiye village.
The combined team is said to have found a 12 bore rifle, nine FCC 9mm.
The press release stated that the arrested person and the confiscated items were handed over to the police authorities for further investigation.
