Dimapur, Sep. 14 (EMN): The Assam Rifles from Company Operating Base Tuli apprehended three National Democratic Front of Boroland (NDFB) cadres at Tuli area in Mokokchung district on Sep. 11.
A report from the Assam Rifles informed that a mobile vehicle check post was established by a party from Company Operating Base Tuli on Sep. 10 after being informed about movement of NDFB from Mon to Dimapur via Tuli–Amguri.
During spot check, a bolero was intercepted on Sep. 11, in which the three cadres of the Assam based banned faction-NDFB (s) were apprehended. The individuals were identified as Dwimalu Wary, resident of Simargaon, Kokrajhar; Ringkhong Brahma, resident of East Sonapuri of Simbhorgaon, Kokrajhar; and Phunkha Basumatary, a resident of Jodanpur, Kokrajhar.
The apprehended cadres were handed over to Tuli Police station for further investigation, the reports added.
