Apok graces All Nagaland Veteran Badminton tourney

“Mokokchung is a land of innovation” stated MLA C.Apok Jamir during the opening programme of the 1st All Nagaland Veteran Badminton Tournament at Indoor Badminton Stadium, Mokokchung on 24th October 2013.The MLA who graced the two day tournament as the Chief Guest mentioned that sports reflects and identifies the progress in the society. He said as a sports person one should know that sports involves not only the agility but also discipline.
Apok Jamir said that the tournament is one where the veterans will be displaying the healthy spirit of sportsmanship to the younger generation and every participant should maintain positive attitude to make the tournament an example for the younger generation. The MLA also advised the younger generation, specially the students to keep up with the progress of the society since the world is changing fast and competitive and every individual need to excel in whatever discipline one have chosen in order to succeed.
Earlier, ADC Mokokchung, Chubawati Chang delivered the welcome speech while Pastor MTBA Rev.Ponen Longchar pronounced the invocation.
