Apex Legends Season 8: Mayhem is coming next month with a new hero

Dimapur, Jan. 18 (EMN): Apex Legends has finally announced Season 8: Mayhem and the much-anticipated update will bring a new hero to the match-making roster, Fuse.

Apex Legends Season 8: Mayhem will arrive at all platforms on February 2, 2021. The new update like all the other major updates will bring a new character, a new map and a new weapon to the game. Apex Legends‘ newest legend is an Aussie renegade called Fuse. Apex Legends has dropped a new trailer showing the backstory of the new legend and it is a blast (excuse the pun).

We don’t have any concrete idea about Fuse‘s abilities but if dataminers on Reddit are to be believed, his active ability is called “Airburst Grenade” and his ultimate is called “The Motherlode“.

Apart from the new hero, Apex Legends has also unveiled a new lever-action gun called the 30-30 repeater and some major changes to the King’s Canyon map (again!).

Outside of that, it is expected that a new Battle Pass will be launched along with the new update. Apex Legends has not officially confirmed a new Battle Pass but more updates from the developer are expected in the coming weeks.
