Dimapur, April 14 (EMN): A new ‘Apex Diagnostic Clinic and Research Centre’ at Naharbari in Dimapur was inaugurated by former MLA and parliamentary secretary, Wonchumo Kithan, on Thursday.
The proprietor of the centre, Dr. Lumbeni Kithan, MD Microbiology, will work on culture and sensitivity, while her husband, Dr. Worshim Khamrang, senior radiologist, on ultrasound, X-ray and guided procedures.
The facilities available at the clinic include ultrasound, x-ray, ultrasound guided interventions and procedures, culture and sensitivity, blood test and other routine tests, master health checkup, OPD consultation.
Kithan, who is also the father of the proprietor, while congratulating the couple, shared that “we should not underestimate our capacity, as human capacity is unlimited.” He hoped that the centre would be a place to extend lives and lessen the pain of patients. He also hoped that the centre would continue to undertake and do the right things and give comfort to the patients.
NG Khamrang, superintendant of police and head of CBI Anti-corruption Branch, Imphal, and brother of Dr. Khamrang, shared about how his family came from a humble background and received many blessings from God. He has termed the doctor profession noble as it is a service to humanity.
R Kikon, retired senior engineer of PHE, government of Nagaland, also shared word of encouragement to the family. The dedicatory prayer of the centre was saod by Rev. Vilodi Sakhrie, pastor of Town Baptist Church, Dimapur.
