Dimapur, Sep. 14 (EMN): Asserting that reconciliation, peace and unity has been the demand of the Nagas, Ao Senden has encouraged the leaders of Working Committee of the six Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs) to seek an inclusive, honourable and acceptable political solution for the people.
Ao Senden conveyed this message, which met the Working Committee (WC) of six Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs) on invitation on September 13 at the Oking.
In a warm and cordial atmosphere, the NNPG leaders recalled the great contributions of the Aos in the political and spiritual awakening of the Nagas. NNPGs have also sought the active and vocal participation of the Aos at this crucial socio-political situation of Nagaland, Media Cell of NNPGs Working Committee stated this in a press release.
The Ao Senden, while conveying greetings on behalf of the Ao Nagas and expressing appreciation for the invitation extended to them, acknowledged the effort of NNPGs for listening to the voice of the people.
Stating that reconciliation, peace and unity was the demand of the Nagas, the Ao Senden leaders expressed optimism that formation of Working Committee by six NNPGs would enable the GOI to look at Indo-Naga political issue from the practical point. The Ao Senden leaders further encouraged the NNPG leaders to be firm and seek an inclusive, honourable and acceptable political solution for the people.
