Mokokchung, Oct. 3 (EMN):
The Ao Senden Federal Council unanimously adopted three resolutions in connection with Naga political talk during a meeting on October 2.

The Ao Senden has resolved to stand firmly united with the rest of the 14 tribes of Nagaland and participate if a permanent platform or a forum is arranged.

Ao Senden also warned that befitting actions would be initiated against any individuals or groups, who meddle with the ongoing Naga political talks in which the Senden is participating.

It further warned that the Ao Senden would leave no stone unturned until the matter is solved in the event of any untoward incidents that might happen to any Ao leaders or citizen in connection with ongoing Naga political talk.

This was stated in a press release appended by Ao Senden president Chubawati Longchar and the secretary Imtipokyim.

While reviewing its earlier resolutions, the Ao Senden and its federal council resolved to reaffirm its earlier resolutions.

The earlier resolutions included demand submitted to ato kilonser of NSCN/GPRN for an honourable and acceptable solution on August 22, 2020; federal council decisions to be a part of 14 Naga tribes and its role in working toward finding peace with all the Naga political groups (NPG) on September 24, 2019.

On December 5, 2019, the Ao Senden also resolved that no individual or group would be allowed to meddle in the matter related to Naga political talks without its consent and the six range apex bodies. Further, on September 14, 2020, had issued notice to individual or groups with dire consequences, who meddle in Naga political talk without its consent.
