ANSU agrees to assist its members

Dimapur, June 25 (EMN): The All Nchangram Students’ Union (ANSU) has agreed upon to be “an agent of voluntarism” in lending its helping hands to student community who are attending their first quarterly examination from various schools within Nchangram village in congruous with its motto “The readers of today are the leaders of tomorrow.”

The union has initiated the drive as many students who do not own personal smartphones to get access to study materials and question papers which are provided virtually/ through online by their respective schools. It added that due to communication gap, some students at times failed to attend their weekly tests/ monthly tests/ quarterly examinations.

Meanwhile, the union president, Kibouwi Zeliang, and the vice president, Tingwangsi Newmai, informed that the executive members ANSU have also decided to provide free tuition for students ranging from classes LKG to 10 from June 22.

The union encouraged its various federating units to do the same by strictly adhering to Covid-19 protocols within their capacity. It further urged the federating units to impart knowledge to student community during this unprecedented time.
