ANPSA Zunheboto organises literary event

Dimapur, July 22 (EMN):
Zunheboto unit of All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association (ANPSA) concluded a two-day literary event held on July 19 and 20 with the participation of all the affiliated schools in Zunheboto town.

Various competitions such as spell bee, essay writing, debate, painting, singing (quartet), prepared speech and drama were organised during the event.

ANPSA president (central), Nini Sekhose, was the special guest of the inaugural programme. She was accompanied by other officials namely PG Nathan, Abalie Medozo and Ashuli.

In spelling bee (juniors), Olympic School secured the first position followed by Cornerstone School and Woodland School in the second and third positions respectively. In spelling bee (seniors), Step by Step School secured the first position followed by Seven Home School and Bloomfield Schools in the second and third positions respectively.

In the prepared speech, Olympic School secured the first position, while St. Anthony’s School and Kids World Montessori and Step by Step School secured the second and third positions respectively.

In essay writing (juniors), Sunbeam School got the first position, while Little Spring School was placed in the second position and Cornerstone School third. In essay writing (seniors), Bloomfield Hill won the first prize, while New Era School and Sunbeam School won second and third prizes respectively.

In painting (juniors), Immanuel School secured the first position, while Cornerstone School and Olympic School secured the second and third positions respectively. In painting (seniors), Olympic School won the first prize, while Immanuel School and Bethany School won second and third prizes respectively.

In debate, Woodland School secured the first position, while Olympic School and Woodland School secured the second and third positions respectively. In song (quartet), Bloomfield Hill School was declared winner, while Olympic School and Immanuel School won second and third places respectively.

Olympic School secured first position in drama competition, while Immanuel School and Bloomfield Hill School secured second and third positions respectively.

The judges of different events were Hiloto S Awomi, Lovi Aye, Imo Onen Ozukum, Holoka T Achumi, Kiboto H Kiba, Ito S Chophy, Dr. Lanu Walling, Vinokili Assumi and Inaholi Ayemi.
