ANPSA Wokha unit felicitates HSLC toppers

HSLC toppers with ANPSA Wokha members, unit teachers and parents during the felicitation programme at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School on Thursday.

DIMAPUR — The Wokha unit of the All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association (ANPSA) organised a felicitation programme in honour of HSLC Examination 2024 toppers at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School youth centre hall on Thursday.

In his keynote address, the president of ANPSA Wokha unit, K Edward Ngullie, congratulated the toppers for their well-deserved achievements and encouraged them to seek higher goals with grit and determination, an update from the association stated.

“Today’s achievement is the first step for greater things to come in life and one should prepare oneself at all times and take every challenge head-on with a positive attitude,” Ngullie said.

Nchumbemo R Lotha (Rank 7), who spoke on behalf f the toppers, attributed his success to the almighty God, his parents, school administrator and all his teachers. He shared his journey and encouraged everyone to have faith in God and put Him above all else.

It mentioned that Wokha district produced four toppers namely Nchumbemo R Lotha (Rank 7) of Isaiah Ability Higher Secondary School, Ruth Y Lotha (Rank 14) of Libemo Memorial School, Meriyani C Humtsoe (Rank 17) of Libemo Memorial School and Zaren Taslim Khandakar (Rank 17) also of Libemo Memorial School in the recently announced HSLC results 2024.

The programme was chaired by Phyochobeni Khuvung, headmistress of Santsüo School, while Fr. Joseph Cherian, principal of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, invoked God’s presence and read the Bible.

Rinton Lohe, general secretary of ANPSA Wokha Unit, delivered the welcome address, while Eranbeni Z Humtsoe of Perennial School enthralled the gathering with a song.

Mhalo Ovung, administrator of Isaiah Ability Higher Secondary School, delivered the vote of thanks and concluded with a prayer said by Rev. Dr. Mhonyamo Ngullie, headmaster of Cistus School.

The programme was attended by present Class 10 students of all the 18 member schools under ANPSA Wokha unit along with teachers and parents of the toppers.
