Dimapur, March 8 (EMN): The 13th annual sports week of Woodstock School, Padumpukhuri commenced at Naharbari ground on Fri. March 8.
In an update received here on Friday, Dr. H. Salome Kinny, Assistant professor, ICFAI University Nagaland was the special invitee for the opening ceremony. In her address, Kinny asked the students to set their priorities right in order to secure a bright future. She also encouraged the students to participate in extra-curricular activities with good team spirit. The inaugural programme started with hoisting of flag and performance by class 1 and 2 students. March-past and drill display was performed by the four respective teams.
The opening ceremony ended with oath taking and declaration of sports week by the special invitee.
