ANKA wins 7 medals at 7TH ISKF National Karate Championship

Dimapur, Sep. 16 (EMN): The All Nagaland Karate-do Association (ANKA) won seven medals in the recently held 7TH ISKF National Karate Championship.

According to an update, the championship was held from Sep. 10 to the 12th in Guwahati, Assam.

Tiakumba won a gold medal in the Kumite (Sparring) 50kg male category, Kivinoli S Aye won a silver medal in Kumite (Sparring) in 53kg female category, while Limitangla, Sarah Yeptho, Astharani Bordolio, Akumienla L Imchen, K Hiketo Kiba, and Tejan Pun Magar won bronze medal in the same event. Meanwhile, Tiabenla Jamir won a bronze medal in Individual Kata event.

Apart from the medal and certificate from the organiser, (ANKA) President T Sangtam announced a cash award for the medal winners and Karate equipment by its Chief-instructor Thsahthriba Sangtam, it said.

The team was lead Team Coach Kasheto Yeptho, Team Manager Yatatla,

Official-1  (Nagaland Chief Instructor) Thsahthriba Sangtam and official-2 T Lanu Imchen, it added.
