Animal feed product unit launched in Mkg

Mokokchung, August 20: A cutter and crusher machine and animal feed production unit was launched by Parliamentary Secretary of Veterinary & Animal Husbandry, S Chuba Longkumer, at APMC, Mokokchung, on August 19.
Addressing the programme, the Parliamentary Secretary lamented that despite many innovative ideas and works being initiated by the people of Mokokchung, the lack of enthusiasm and determination had hampered the works. Stating that other people are trying to refine those ideas and make benefits out of them, he urged the people to start their innovative ideas and works with a zeal for their benefit.
Chuba also lamented on various agricultural machineries being wasted in the State instead of making use of them for the advantage of farmers. He has attributed to people’s negligent to utilise them to its full potentials. He said projects taken up should be implemented with dedication and conviction.
Meanwhile, the Indigenous Micro Organism (IMO) was inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Sushil Kumar Patel. Short speeches were also delivered by president of NPF Mokokchung Division, Moasangba Jamir, and others.
The technical session was presided by the Deputy Director of Veterinary and Husbandry, Dr. Longri, and the president of Farmers Wing NPF Mokokchung Division & CONFU, L Yanger.
