ANGPTA appeals Nagaland government to release salary on time
Dimapur, May 13 (EMN): The All Nagaland Government Primary Teachers, Association (ANGPTA) has appealed to the government to disburse their salaries on time, saying that they haven’t received payment for two months.
Maintaining that delay in payment of salary causes lot of hardship as most government school teachers depend on bank loans to meet their family needs, the association requested the government to disburse salaries on time so that the employees could perform their work efficiently.
This came a day after Principal Director of School Education, Shanavas C requested the employees to bear with the delay in payment of salaries caused by some glitches, including updating required information on the Personal Information Management System (PIMS) or ePay Bill system which has been initiated to enable for timely release of salaries.
He added that once the system is put in place and information required are updated, delay in payment of salary will be curbed
