Dimapur, June 20 (EMN): The Humtso Village Youth Organisation in a press note informed that it will be organising an “Angling Competition” at Wokha on July 8. The event will be held at Mhonkao Murry & Family Fishery i.e. Titaphen (Mt. Tiyi College Colony) Wokha Town.
The winner (highest total weight) will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/-, while the runners up will receive Rs. 7000/-. The single biggest catch will receive Rs. 3000/-.
Gift hampers for other categories would also be given away during the event.
The competition will begin at 8:00 but all the participants must reach the venue by 7:00 am for allotment of seats and for the opening function. Anglers are allowed to use only two rods. It may also be mentioned that the event is organised on the basis of limited entrants.
Registration fee will be Rs. 500 and can be done at Hornbill Restaurant & Hotel, opposite Central Bank of India, Wokha.
