Angami youth felicitates IAS inductee

Dimapur, May 16 (EMN):
Angami Youth Organization (AYO) has felicitated Deputy Director of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, Dr. Zasekuolie Chüsi, on his induction as an Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officer. The induction of Dr. Zasekuolie Chüsi as IAS officer was communicated to the state government by Directorate of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Government of India, on May 3 last.

Extending greetings at the felicitation programme held at AYO office on May 16, Angami Public Organisation (APO) president, Dr. Kepelhousie Terhüja, congratulated Dr. Chüsi on his induction as IAS officer. He urged the officer later to discharge his duties in the best interest and progress of the society.

APO president also called upon the youngsters to take up the challenge with hard work, determination and intelligence to achieve such heights through competitive exams.

Chüsi, currently working as Deputy Director of Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services and Nodal Officer to coordinate with the allied Ministry in Delhi for various CSS programme, said he along with others appeared the UPSC examination as per the IAS induction rules for non-state civil service cadres in December 2018 and the result was declared in January 2019. He said the formal appointment order was issued by the Ministry of Personnel and Training on May 3.

Hailing from Mezoma village, Chüsi entered into service as Veterinary Assistant Surgeon on February 1, 1995, and got regularisation through NPSC in 2000.

The function was chaired by AYO vice president, Khisanol Viswentso.
