Angami students to hold book fest

Dimapur, August 3 (EMN): In order to explore young talent, the Angami Students’ Union (ASU) has announced to organise a book fest cum literary competition titled ‘ASU Fest’ somewhere towards the end of this year. The decision to hold the book fest cum literary completion was taken during its 1st union assembly held on August 3 at Pfüchama council hall. The house deliberated on the agendas of students’ code of conduct, to monitor and regulate tuition fees, render focus to the drop-out students to encourage and assist them undergo training on life skills. Besides, it also discussed on conduct of an enumeration drive of all the business enterprises in Kohima town in consultation with various organisations for social reforms. ASU officials also discussed on the 18th edition NSF Martyrs Memorial Trophy 2017 scheduled from September 25 to October 24. Out of the total 82 units, 46 units under the Angami Students’ Union attended the meeting along with elders and seniors. This was stated in a press release issued by ASU union assembly speaker Kekhrievituo Dahou.
