Dimapur, July 1 (EMN): The Angami Students’ Union Kohima College Kohima conducted its 43rd annual fresher’s day at Ura Academy Hall in Kohima on June 30. The union updated about the event on Sunday.
Keneilesa Neikha, HoD of History department Kohima College attended the programme as special guest. In his address, Neikha exhorted the students to retrace their root and know more of their identity. He also advised them to preserve one’s own mother tongue. Further, he encouraged the students to focus in studies and excel in whichever field they pursue.
The event was also attended by Tenyidie Kephrünuoko Krotho, various tribal units of Kohima College and dignitaries.
