Dimapur, April 8 (EMN): All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) urged upon the chief minister to initiate measures to restore laboratory facilities at Kohima Science College, Jotsoma, which were damaged by fire on April 4 night. In an appeal to the chief minister, ANCSU president Zhoku Thuluo and the general secretary Benjong Longchar apprised of the unfortunate incident at Kohima Science College, Jotsoma, in which 3-4 laboratories and research instruments were damaged causing huge loss to the students’ community in general. ANCSU, while expressing solidarity and concern over the loss, said an institution like Kohima Science College cannot run effectively without proper instruments and laboratory facilities as it matters day-to-day activity and functions of the Science College. While sympathising with the problem faced by the student community, ANCSU urged the chief minister to take stoke of the situation at hand and initiate action by way of restoring the necessary materials at the earliest.
