ANCSU thanks government for disbursal of PMS second installment

DIMAPUR — The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has expressed gratitude to the state government, the Minister of Higher Education and Tourism and the department concerned for understanding the need for scholarships of the students and disbursing the second installment of the post matric scholarship (PMS) for ST students on December 19.

In a press statement, ANCSU, conveying gratitude, said that the union buoyantly takes into account that the state government and minister concerned have serious solicitude for the well-being of the student’s community.

Furthermore, it stated that, as informed by the Directorate of Higher Education, students whose names are on the beneficiary list but have not received their scholarship can claim it within 90 days.

“Students may contact 7005405552 or query.hescholarship@gmail.com for queries about scholarships during office hours,” the statement read.

It mentioned that the beneficiary list may be downloaded from the department’s website at https://highereducation.nagaland.gov.in as and when uploaded by the department.

The union also expressed its gratitude to college authorities, faculties, college students’ unions, students, and well-wishers for the support and cooperation it received throughout the year.

Meanwhile, it mentioned that due to the festive season, the office of ANCSU will remain closed starting from December 22, 2023, to January 15, 2024. It also wished everyone a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
