Dimapur, Oct. 16 (EMN): On the third day of its ‘digital protest’, members of All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) dispatched “over one million emails” to top government functionaries and made multiple phone calls to the chief ministers’ office, chief secretary office and other government functionaries.

A press release from the union on Friday informed that initial calls were met with the response: “File is under process; kindly enquire from the directorate of Technical Education”. Later on, some of the numbers were unreachable, it added.

The ‘digital protest’ has been launched against the state government’s failure to set up an enquiry commission to probe the fund utilisation at Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu in Zunheboto.

“...ANCSU will intensify its ongoing protest with immediate effect along with the ongoing protest,” it stated.
