DIMAPUR — The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) held its second union assembly on Saturday, hosted by Oriental College, Kohima.
The assembly was chaired by Dzüzüve Swüro, speaker of ANCSU. A total of 27 colleges attended the event out of 40 affiliated units of ANCSU, according to a press release.
The agendas discussed and deliberated in the interest of the college fraternity included the Kohima Science College land encroachment issue, the appointment of contractual teachers in higher education, the establishment of a Higher Education Commission, the scholarship nodal cell, the introduction of Science stream and the boundary wall of Dimapur Government College, the shortage of buses and lack of infrastructure in government institutes, attachment issues, the ANCSU biennial collegiate meet 2024, and coaching institutes.
