Dimapur, April 23 (EMN): The All Nagaland Child Development Project Officers’ Association (ANCDPOA) celebrated its silver jubilee at Niathu Resort, Dimapur, on April 23.
Addressing the members on the occasion, the guest of honour and director of Social Welfare department, K Atoli Sema, reminded that the Social Welfare department is a big department which deals with human security, senior citizens, health of future generations and many other social security for the uplift of the society. She, therefore, urged all the officers to take pride to be part of the department and also discharge their duties with sincerity and dedication, a DIPR report stated.
Lauding the prevailing good relationship among various associations, the director urged upon the members to maintain a healthy relationship and to love, respect and uplift one another, and also learn from each other.
“Only when they have good relationships and better cooperation, they can withstand any unwanted pressure from different quarters,” the director stated.
Other highlights of the programme included invocation prayer by pastor of 15th NAP IR, Neibu Sanchu, while the welcome speech was delivered by the jubilee convenor, C James Ezung, and the presidential address delivered by ANCDPOA president, D Terhuja.
Speech by former director, Khevito T Shohe, musical interlude, and vote of thanks delivered by the association assistant general secretary Imliyanger were other highlights of the celebration. Report also stated that mementos and certificates were given away to some of its members in recognition of their outstanding contributions towards the society.
