Dimapur, April 25 (EMN): The All Nagaland Ad-hoc Teacher’s Group (ANATG) 2015 Batch has appealed the state government to regularise their service without further delay.
The adhoc teachers argued that different categories in the department, who have com pleted 3 years of continuous service by 2015, have fulfilled all the criteria laid down by the department by going through departmental suitability test exam on May 20, 2017. It stated that 1166 members have cleared all the formalities like documents, spot verification, and screening of documents from the P&AR department and waiting cabinet approval for service regularisation.
ANATG president, Rüguotsolie, stated that ad-hoc teachers are receiving a meagre amount of INR 6700 for primary teacher and INR 8400 for graduate teacher per month.
The ANATG 2015 Batch lamented that several representations, memorandums and ultimatums to the government on the issue was not responded to till date. In demanding for service regularisation, it has also sought ‘equal pay for equal work.’
ANATG warned that would have no other option but to exercise their fundamental right in the form of protest/agitation against the department.
