Anaemia reduction camp held in Chozuba

[caption id="attachment_265109" align="alignnone" width="550"] Department officials along with the residents of Phughi village after the anaemia reduction camp on August 5.[/caption] Dimapur, Aug. 10 (EMN): As part of the national nutrition mission programme, Social Welfare department organised a second phase “Anaemia reduction camp” on August 5 at Phughi village under Chozuba sub-division in Phek district. According to a press statement appended by Nusa Thisa, Supervisor, ICDS Project, Chozuba, a total of 145 patients were examined and medicines free of charge were distributed to the patients during the camp. The release added that the Social Welfare department in collaboration with the district administration and medical department, Phek, has completed its first phase covering Lower Khomi, Middle Khomi, Upper Khomi and Kütsapo villages. The programme, which aims to reduce anaemia in Phek district will continue to cover other remaining remote villages in its later phases, the release added.
