Through this column, we would like to urge the concern authority to take note our grievances and extend the last date for online application submission of Pre-Metric and Post-Metric Scholarship scheme till October 30, 2017 for the sake of students’ community. The fact is that, we could not complete all the required process on time bound period given by your esteemed department due to poor network connectivity in semi-rural and rural areas. Most of the time the banking services couldn’t operate properlyand other online necessities such as opening students’ account and online application submission have been disrupted. Eventually,most ofthe studentscouldn’t apply in,which isthe only scheme (scholarship) we can avail to help in our studies. Therefore, we the affected under-privilege students requestthe higher authority to kindly extend another one month (upto October 30, 2017) for the welfare of the students’ community.
