The consumption of electricity by the consumer is increasing day by day and the 100 kV transformer installed in Ngwalwa Sub-Station seems too little at the present day.
It is learnt that public have been requesting the concerned department verbally and in written to upgrade the installed 100 kV transformer to 250 kV but is it falling on deaf ears?
Every year the transformer has to be repaired many times due to overloading.
And for your information it takes days to even replace/repair a silly issue which can be completed in less than a day.
The public of Ngwalwa is facing untold hardships especially the student community, small scale businesses and entrepreneurs,who requires electricity for their livelihood, due to the negligence of the Department.
The department concern is not heeding to our grievances but then our complaints and grievances are taken as an insult to them personally.
Therefore, the undersigned would like request you to kindly look in to the matter for upgrading 100 kV to 250 kV for the welfare of the public.
