With the state assembly elections bound to take place, in spite of all the ‘solution before elections’, I’m sure all the respective political parties are gearing up for the grand show. With regard to this, I’d like to make an earnest request to all the political parties, especially to the youth wings: please maintain civility whilst going around campaigning. Don’t go around speeding down the dusty roads and honking like chimpanzees (or savages, whichever you prefer). Please don’t disturb the ‘almost peaceful’ atmosphere. I’m bringing this issue up because it is always the same story every elections. One must know that children are always the most affected in such situations. I would also appeal to the city police and administration to put into place proper mechanisms to prevent such hooliganism. The liberty of the citizens must not be disturbed.
