Amam to drive Moatsu motor rally in Mokokchung

Mokokchung, April 21 (EMN):
The Adventure and Motorsports Association of Mokokchung (Amam) will be hosting the 4th edition of the Mokokchung autocross rally on May 3 and the 4th.

Speaking to media persons during a press conference, Amam officials said that the Mokokchung autocross would be held at the Imkongmeren Sports Complex on May 3, besides the first-ever Moatsu Sprint on May 4 at Yimchalu village, some 15 km away from Mokokchung town.

The organisers are expecting participants from Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, and Delhi, besides competitors from across the state.

Along with Amam’s technical team a ‘rookie riders group’ would be assisting the organisers on the technical field during the two-day event.

It was informed that the competition would be held in three classes viz. below 1300cc, above 1300cc and SUV category. The total cash prize for the winners would be INR 2.35 lakh along with trophy and certificates.
