All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) open carrom tournament concludes

KOHIMA — The All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) Hq Kohima organised its first open carrom tournament on June 23 and 24 at ISBT, Regional Taxi Parking, Kohima.

In doubles category, Daniel Achumi and Apulo Awomi from Dimapur emerged winners and received cash prize INR 30, 000. Vikheho Katy and Inaho Zhimo from Niuland were runner-up and received INR 20,000. Two semi finalists in doubles category Besuto & Victor and Boaz & Abeto received INR 7000 each.

Mhasekhoyi Kezo from Kohima won champion title in singles category and received INR 25,000 while runner-up Besuto Nienu from Kohima received INR 15,000.

The two singles semi finalists Vikheshe and Justin received INR 5000 each.

Ketholhoutuo Belho, executive member of Kohima Village Youth Organisation gave away prizes to the winners during the valedictory function.

Altogether, 72 participants from Kohima, Niuland, Dimapur, Chümoukedima and Phek districts took part in the tournament.

Meanwhile, the association thanked all the prize sponsors, participants and well wishers for the success of the tournament.
