All Nagaland Don Bosco Schools 4th tourney concludes

Dimapur, Sep. 30 (EMN): The All Nagaland Don Bosco Schools 4th tournament concluded with the valedictory function and prize distribution ceremony on Friday, September 29 at Don Bosco Higher Secondary campus, Dimapur. In all seven Salesian High Schools participated: Don Bosco (Dimapur), Don Bosco (Kohima), Christ King (Kohima), Little Flower School (Kohima), Don Bosco (Mon), Don Bosco (Wokha), and Don Bosco (Zubza). The boys participated in football and the girls in volleyball matches. The winners in the boys’ tournament was won by Don Bosco School Zubza while Don Bosco School, Mon emerged as the runner up. Meanwhile girls from Don Bosco School Mon won the volleyball trophy while girls from Don Bosco Zubza emerged as the runners-up. Special individual awardees in football included Abel H (best keeper), Hriilozii Immanuel (best striker) and Chungba Jacob (best player). Special individual prize winners in volleyball were Geihngam Konyak (best spiker) and Asinuo (best server). The valedictory function included special number from Jared; message and distribution of prizes by guest of honour, Dr. Simon Dzüvichü (President, Catholic Association of Nagaland); vote of thanks by Fr. Gangmei J. Joshua sdb, Principal of DBHSS Dimapur and chief coordinator of the All Nagaland Don Bosco Schools 4th Tournament. The tournament was inaugurated on September 28.
