Tseminyu administration and ALIMCO to conduct assessment camps for PwDs and senior citizens from February 9 to the 13th.

DIMAPUR — The Deputy Commissioner of Tseminyu, Japheth Woch, has informed that the Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO), in collaboration with the district administration, Health and Family Welfare department, and Social Welfare department, will conduct assessment camps for persons with disabilities (PwDs) and senior citizens.
The camps, under the Assistance to Disabled Persons (ADIP) and Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana (RVY) schemes, are scheduled for needy divyangjan and senior citizens aged 60 and above, according to a DIPR report.
The assessment will be held on February 9 at Primary Health Centre (PHC) Chunlikha from 10 am for the villages of Kithagha, Chunlikha, Tsonsa, K Station, Kandinu, Yikhanu, Ehunnu and Gukhanyu. On February 10, it will be held at PHC Tesophenyu from 10 am for Tesophenyu, Sewanu, Ziphenyu and Tesophenyu New.

On February 11, the camp will be at CHC Tseminyu from 10 am for Tseminyu, Zisunyu, Phenda, Ngvuphen, South Village, Phenwhenyu, Guju, Kashanyu, Kashanyishin, Terogvunyu, Henbenji, Khonibinzun, Phenshunyu, Khenyu, Tsonzunphen and Phentejon. On February 12, it will be conducted at the Wellness Sub-Centre, Sendenyu, from 10 am for Sendenyu, Thongsunyu, Lotsuphen, New Sendenyu and Rumesinyu.
On February 13, the camp will conclude at Sub-Centre Tsosinyu from 10 am for Tsosinyu, Gwachonlo, Longwesunyu and Rengmaoani.
The DPO and CDPO, Social Welfare, have been requested to inform Anganwadi workers to mobilise PwDs and senior citizens, while the SMO is to inform all PHCs, Community Health Centres (CHCs), and sub-centres to make necessary arrangements. Village council chairmen have been directed to inform the general public.
The required documents for the ADIP scheme include a mandatory UDID card, a disability certificate with at least 40 per cent disability, enrolment numbers of UDID, and an income certificate (monthly income not exceeding INR 22,500) issued by the district administration. The Aadhaar card must be linked to a phone number.
For the RVY scheme, required documents include an income certificate (monthly income not exceeding INR 15,000) issued by the district administration and an Aadhaar card (age 60 and above).
