Alder Tours and Travels spreads its wings

To provide services like visa, passport, online ticket booking for flight and train, souvenirs and international tour packages

Dimapur, Aug. 12 (EMN): Travel agency Alder Tours and Travels inaugurated its extension office at Angami Public Organisation Building, Midland Kohima on August 9. Veyielo Doulo, deputy director, Directorate of Tourism, Government of Nagaland was the guest of honour for the event.

Alder Tours and Travels, which has been engaged in inbound tours for the past 13 years, has started outbound tours too, informed an update from Kejaroko Pieru, co-partner of the travel agency. The extended office of the firm will also provide services for visa, Indian passport, online ticketing for flight and train, souvenirs and international tour packages including holyland tour.

While congratulating the firm for the new venture, Doulo stressed on the prospects and opportunities of outbound tourism and the benefits it will give to those travelling overseas. He also advised Alder Tours and Travels to reach out to the unexplored areas and help promote the concept of homestay and community-based tourism to the people.

Doulo mentioned how Nagaland Tourism Association (NTA) was formed in 2000 and urged the members of NTA present in the function to work hard and put their heads together to promote tourism.

The programme was chaired by Senele Magh, invocation by Neikerusie Punyü, ex pastor of Ministers’ Hill Baptist Church, welcome note by Alder Tours and Travels proprietor Kevichülie Meyase, and vote of thanks by Kejaroko Pierü.
