MOKOKCHUNG — Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) on Thursday implored the government and contractors involved to promptly address the delayed construction of the Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital (IMDH), Mokokchung.

In a representation to the director of KC Infra Projects Private Ltd. Dimapur, AKM reminded that the construction of IMDH as per the detailed project report (DPR) specifications has been pending for a considerable period beyond the stipulated timeframe.

AKM claimed that the delay has significantly impacted the accessibility and availability of quality healthcare services for the local community and adjoining districts. They added the delay has not only caused inconveniences but also compromised the well-being and lives of those in need.

It, therefore, requested the firm for immediate intervention to expedite the construction process of IMDH by allocating additional manpower.

AKM further implored the government and contractors involved to prioritise the project for its early completion without further procrastination.

“We kindly seek your assistance in ensuring that the project's completion aligns with the original DPR specifications, upholding the highest standards of quality and functionality. We eagerly anticipate your swift and favorable response, without any further delay,” AKM stated.
