Mokokchung, Sep. 26 (EMN):
The Ao Students' Conference (AKM) has expressed dismay over the failure of the state government in responding to its plea on the matter pertaining to SSA and RMSA teachers of 2010 and 2013 batches.

A press release issued by AKM expressed regret at the state government’s apathy on the matter despite similar concern being raised by host of organisations and student bodies besides serving an ultimatum to the School Education department.

AKM also pointed out that like all other departments, the Education department and the teachers are doing their best even during the time of pandemic to keep their students engaged in their academic activities.

‘It is their right to be paid for the hard work they do,’ it stated.

AKM further affirmed to support the SSA and RMSA teachers till their demand is fulfilled.
