MOKOKCHUNG — The Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) organised a candlelight service in memory of late Innayachet Mollier, who served as the social and cultural secretary of AKM, at the AKM building premises in Mokokchung town on Monday.

Lanutoshi Aier, president of AKM, described Mollier on the occasion as a capable individual with a warm and loving personality and talked about his contributions to AKM and various civil society organisations since his college days.

He mentioned that Mollier died on October 4 while en route from Dimapur to an official programme in Kohima and that everyone at AKM deeply mourns his passing.

He assured that, despite this tragic loss, the remaining members of AKM’s leadership are committed to carrying out its mission, and he requested prayers and support for the team.

A moment of tribute was observed as attendees held candles in remembrance of Lt. Innayachet Mollier.

Reverend Temsuwati Kichu, associate pastor of the Salangtem Fellowship, MTBA, shared words of solace and spiritual guidance at the event, while S Arenla Lkr, president of Watsü Mungdang, pronounced the invocation.

Ao Senden, Watsü Mungdang, and student bodies from six Ao ranges attended the service.
