Akashvani Kohima to organise ‘Musical Fiesta’

DIMAPUR — In a prelude to India’s 78th Independence Day celebration, Akashvani Kohima is all set to organise a ‘Musical Fiesta’ on August 10 at State Academy Hall in Kohima from 4 pm with the Director General of Police (DGP) of Nagaland, Rupin Sharma, as the guest of honour.

An update from Akashvani Kohima stated that the special celebration would honour the spirit of freedom and unity through an exceptional showcase of music and cultural performances from 15 tribes of Nagaland.

It added that the ‘Musical Fiesta’ would feature an array of performances by both renowned and emerging artistes from the state like DGP band, Colour Keys and Moko Koza among others.

The assistant director  and head of programme at Akashvani Kohima, Abino Lasuh, informed that the event is not only a tribute to India’s rich cultural legacy but also a chance for all to come together and celebrate the nation’s journey and achievements.

Lasuh has invited all the citizens in Kohima to join in the celebration.
