AHWC in Lotsu dedicated to public

Wokha, Sep. 3 (EMN): A renovated Ayush Health and Wellness Centre (AHWC) in Lotsu village under Sanis sub-division of Wokha district was dedicated on September 3 in the presence of the deputy chief medical officer of Wokha, Dr. Zuben Kikon.

It was informed that prior to the renovation, the medical centre was run by a medical staff without a doctor. However, with renovation and dedication of the medical centre, a medical officer would be posted at the centre, informed by R Thechamo Ovung, chairman of Lotsu village council.

During the dedication programme, medicines along with oxygen cylinders were handed over to Dr. Thungjanthung Ovung, the medical officer of AHWC, Lotsu.

The renovation of the building included construction of one chamber for doctors, a yoga hall and electrification. The centre was dedicated by Rev. R Zaremo Tsanglao, while R Thechamo Ovung, chairman of Lotsu village council, chaired the dedication programme.
