Dimapur, Sep. 7 (EMN): Agniveer recruitment rallies for male candidates at Mariani in Assam and Rangapahar in Nagaland commenced on September 7.
A press release issued by the PRO (Def), Lt. Col. Amit Shukla, informed that male candidates of nine districts of Upper Assam and all districts of Nagaland would be appearing for the recruitment for next few days. The candidates, who have applied for the rally, have been allotted specific dates to appear for the rally.
The release stated that both the rallies have received overwhelming response. It added that the military, state and district authorities have joined their hands to make the event a great success, which would provide employment to large number of youth of the region.
Meanwhile, it advised all the candidates to be aware of false promises made by various frauds and touts. It stated that the entire recruitment process has been automated and no person could influence the result of any candidate. It also urged the candidates to have faith in their own capabilities.
It further informed that the rallies for the rest of the states and districts of the North East Zone are planned in subsequent months.
